In 2007, after nearly 20 years as a highly-skilled and knowledgeable corporate paralegal, Joanne decided it was time for a change. Not long after, she left the Boston, Massachusetts law firm of Ropes & Gray to strike out on her own and work independently.
Working as an independent paralegal, Joanne achieved success almost immediately. Yet, she soon realized that in order to service her clients at the highest level of expediency and efficiency, she needed a team to meet the ongoing demand from clients who sought top-quality talent. Soon after, Strategic Paralegal Services was born.
Initially providing services based on her own finely-honed skills in corporate and business law, Joanne would soon wade into other areas of the law, such as immigration, Blue Sky and Real Estate, as demand for the Strategic Paralegal Services model – working virtually – increased.
While staying aligned with client expectations, Joanne acquired abilities and expertise beyond her corporate wheelhouse, quickly gaining traction in legal specialties such as intellectual property, securities law (Blue Sky), contract review and estate planning.
The positive byproduct of Joanne’s effort and dedication was an expansion of her service competency, which generated more interest in the solutions that Strategic Paralegal Services can provide.
